This is a page explaining a little about the Banwen Miners' Bloodhounds.

We are keeping old traditions alive, within the law, by hunting the clean boot aka a human runner. Banwen Miners left the Masters of Foxhounds Association (MFHA) and are approved for probationary membership of the Masters of Draghounds and Bloodhounds Association in March of (MDBA) in March 2022. Having returned its foxhounds to the MFHA, the hunt obtained bloodhounds from a variety of sources within the Bloodhounds association. .

The Banwen Miners' was formed as a working-man’s hunt nearly 60 years ago and we hope to see its traditions survive for many years to come so that the best traditions of the hunting field can be retained and passed to a new generation.

All are welcome to join us for a day’s clean boot hunting. For those who have doubts then keep an open mind and form your opinion by what you see not what others might say.
